The Holistic Approach
The Holistic Approach sees the individual thriving where all aspects of one’s integrated self (mind, body, and spirit) are considered and harmonious. As the result of knowing oneself through gaining life experience, critical thinking, and self-reflection, one comes to understand their cause-and-effect relationship with the world. Consequently, this can bring about profound growth, empowerment, and vitality. The more steadfast we remain to the transformative path, following our joy and passion, the closer we get to the deeper meaning of our lives, thus experiencing a sense of fulfillment.
My work is informed by my understanding of ancient mythology, alternative healing practices, Patanjali’s 8-limbed yoga, and Psychotherapy. The therapeutic approach I take focuses on personal agency, relational integrity, embodiment, mindfulness, and somatic awareness. I work in an integrative way using many models of therapy including emotion-focused, strengths-based, and humanistic. I help my clients gain deeper self-awareness, explore their relationships with themselves and others, and discover their capacity for greater fulfillment.

The holistic approach to well-being involves looking at the complete picture of an individual through understanding relational influences, environmental conditions, and how they function within familial and societal systems. My approach focuses on the broader scope of an individual’s life context and history.
The holistic approach sees the individual as a whole and addresses all aspects of a person’s life: mind, body, spirit, relationships, purpose, developmental blueprints, past experiences, environment, and social influences.
Mind
Learning skills to acknowledge challenging or negative thoughts and emotions allows us to understand our mental health. Through self awareness, self reflection and acceptance it is possible to soothe ourselves and understand why we respond the way we do.
Body
Through inquiry into the felt senses within the physical body we find ways to calm the nervous system and reconnect to parts of ourselves we may have lost. Connecting back to our bodies allows us to work with suppressed emotions and learn how to respond rather than react.
spirit
Our spiritual world can be supported through many outlets of joyful play and heartfelt connection. When we are disconnected from our spirit, we feel dull and un-inspired. Understanding our spiritual needs is paramount to our overall health and vitality.
Workshops & Courses
I am currently running several public workshops around intentional practices and the principles of yoga. I will be hosting a Yoga Nidra & Yin Workshop in late 2025 at Light Space Yoga in Melbourne. I will also be offering several 6-week Beginner’s courses hosted at Fort Green in Melbourne throughout 2025. Please email your interest or book via the studio websites.
“Challenging experiences can be catalysts for deeper self-understanding. The lessons we receive from them allow us to elevate and focus on what is of the highest value for our soul’s evolution. They offer an opportunity for growth and an inquiry into our deeper truths so that we may know ourselves fully.”
